 The XVI edition of BAIKAL ICE MARATHON "Clean Water Preservation Run" was successfully held on March, 01, 2020. 131 runners from 27 countries took part in rather challenging race thi year. Congratulations!

  The XV-th edition of Baikal Ice Marathon "Clean Water Preservation Run" was successfully held on March, 02, 2019. 126 runners from 28 countries took part in the shortest edition of the race (in time duration) we ever had.
 Results of XIII Baikal Ice Marathon "Clean water preservation run"
The XIIth edition of Baikal Ice Marathon "Clean Water Preservation Run" was successfully held on March, 06, 2016. 192 runners from 26 countries took part in the toughest race we ever had, part of the runners of the XII BIM had to stop the race under force majeure circumstances. The Winner is Piotr Hercog from Poland, who finished the marathon course with the time of 3 hours 55 min. 51 sec. The second and the third places were taken by Łukasz Zdanowski from Poland - 4:07:20, and Sergey Khazov from Krasnoyarsk, Russia - 4:15:55. The Winner among ladies is Darya Manziy from Irkutsk, Russia, who finished the full course with the time of 5 hours 00 min. 48 sec. The second and the third places were taken by Li Fengchun from China - 6:04:29, and Gabriele Mayr from Germany - 6:21:35.  
The XIth edition of Baikal Ice Marathon "Clean Water Preservation Run" was successfully held on March, 01, 2015. 167 runners from 23 countries took part in the toughest race we ever had. The Winner is Sergei Kalashnikov from Irkutsk, Russia, who finished the marathon course with the time of 3 hours 28 min. 40 sec. The second and the third places were taken by Aleksandr Ptzarev  from Abakan, Russia - 3:29:59, and Mohamed Menacer from France - 3:46:52. The Winner among ladies is Sofia Garcia Bardoll from Spain, who finished the full course with the time of 4 hours 24 min. 10 sec. The second and the third places were taken by Galina Baikova from St. Petersburg, Russia - 4:30:07, and Vlada Tarasova from Tver, Russia - 4:49:46.

The X Jubilee edition of  Baikal Ice Marathon "Clean Water Preservation Run" was successfully held on March, 01, 2014. 145 runners from 21 countries participated in the marathon. The Winner is Fyodor Sveshnikov from Moscow, Russia, who finished the marathon course with the time of 2 hours 59 min. 50 sec. The second and the third places were taken by Sergey Khazov  from Krasnoyarsk and Sergey Kalashnikov from Irkutsk.
The Organizing Committee of Russa's most exotic marathon, the world's fastest marathon foot race on ice, the world's flattest marathon, one of the world's 20 most impressive foot races and one of the world's 50 toughest endurance races - Baikal Ice Marathon - is glad to announce that the X Jubilee edition of the Baikal Ice Marathon "For preservation of clean water" will be held on March,01,2014.
IX Baikal Ice Marathon "For Preservation of Clean Water" was successfully held on March, 03, 2013. The Winner is Sergey Kalashnikov from Irkutsk, Russia, who finished the marathon course with the time of 3 hours 07 min. 43 sec. The second and the third places were taken by Russian runners - Fyodor Sveshnikov and Igor Zakharchenko.
VIII Baikal Ice Marathon "Clean Waters Conservation Run" was successfully held on March, 03, 2012. The Winner is Sergey Kalashnikov from Irkutsk, Russia, who finished the marathon course with the record time of 2 hours 55 min. 51 sec. The second and the third places were taken by German and Russian runners - Ben Dame and Fyodor Sveshnikov. Also the race record for women is set  by Maybritt Elisabet Prahl  from Australia in 3 hours 50 min. 11 sec.

Due to the recent change of the election date of the President of Russian Federation (now to be held on March,04,2012) the Organizing Committee of the International Baikal Ice Marathon had to make a decision to hold the VIII-th Baikal Ice Marathon on March,03,2012. Sorry for possible inconvenience caused by such a decision.
VII Baikal Ice Marathon "Clean Waters Conservation Run" was successfully held on March, 06, 2011. The winner Alexander Ulitin from Irkutsk finished the marathon course for 3 hours 31 min. 20 sec. The second and the third places were taken by Spanish runners - Salvador Calvo and Juan-Antonio Alegre.
VII Baikal Ice Marathon as "Clean Waters Conservation Run"  will be held on March, 06, 2011.
The year of 2011 will be the 7-th year since UNO had proclaimed a decade of 2005-2015  as International Decade for Action “Water for Life” during which there should be at all levels a greater focus on water related issues.   On March, 06, 2010, the 7-th edition of Baikal Ice Marathon as “Clean Waters Conservation Runs” shall also and again be held on the ice frozen Lake Baikal – the world’s deepest, largest in volume and oldest fresh water lake. Well of the Planet Earth, Sacred Sea, Siberia’s Pearl or Treasure of the World are few of the names that respectfully and with reverence refer to LakeBaikal. And in first turn,   the Baikal is a live body of Great Water - the beginning and the continual of life on Earth. We invite you to come and take part in this unique  Baikal Ice Marathon – one of the world’s  24 most impressive foot races and Russia’s most exotic one. Deadline for registration is prolonged until January, 30, 2011.
The 6-th Baikal Ice Marathon as “Clean Waters Conservation Run” was successfully held on March,07, 2010. NB: Next VII Baikal Ice Marathon will be held on March, 06, 2011.
